📋 How You’ll Join the Program: The Onboarding & Selection Process

We believe in transparency, fairness, and opportunity for all. That’s why we’ve built a step-by-step selection journey designed to identify motivated, committed individuals from every corner of the community.

Step 1: Discover – Community Engagement

We start by working closely with community leaders to design awareness campaigns that are clear, inclusive, and aligned with local realities. You’ll begin seeing posters, radio messages, and local information sessions in your area!

Step 2: Design – Tailored Outreach

We roll out a focused 8-week communication strategy, making sure every eligible young person knows how to apply and what to expect.

Step 3: Deploy – Apply & Register

Ready to join? You’ll be able to register digitally or in person. Don’t worry — our team will help guide you through it. You’ll receive a confirmation, and your documents will be safely stored.

Step 4: Select – Fair & Smart Selection

We apply filters to ensure the best match between your profile and the training pathways. This includes:

• A literacy & numeracy test
• A motivational session to help you understand the commitment and ask any questions
• A fair scoring system prioritizing local and underrepresented candidates

Step 5: Final Selection & Enrollment

We select the top candidates with a buffer in place to account for any dropouts. If you’re selected, you’ll be contacted directly and invited to begin training!

📍 Where Training Happens

🗺️ Training will take place across key locations in Mozambique — including Afungi, Palma, Pemba, and potentially Nampula or Maputo, depending on where participants are based.

All trainees will start with a mandatory two-week immersion in Afungi, the heart of the project’s industrial activity. This is your opportunity to:

• Understand real jobsite expectations
• Get familiar with professional routines
• Build a strong foundation for success in high-performance environments

After the immersion, you’ll continue your training in a location that best matches your residence and logistical needs.
